  1. Liking the quote. I did enjoy the few novels of Orwell’s that I have read. He has some quotable lines.

On an aside: I cannot seem to get my hands on a copy of his non-fiction piece titled “Why I Write”. I have no idea if you’d be into it but I mentioned it anyway on the off chance that it happens to take your fancy.

      • Not going to lie, I actually chuckled at that.

While we’re on the topic(ish), are there any texts that, off the top of your head, you’d like to suggest I check out on the “off chance that it is an ON chance”? I like most texts so it’s easier to describe to only genre that I seem to consistently not enjoy: fiction that is “based on real-life” which revolves around the lives of a few teenagers who live in in blazing hot and rural outbacks. Follows them being bullied or something something something. Basically, it is a pretty specific category that I dislike so don’t shy away from any book/poetry/somethingelse recommendations that come to your mind.

  2. Well, I will begin with I am not what you would call well read. Due to some…ehem…bad decisions…I abandoned my reading in my teens. I am now attempting to make up for lost time. :/ So, you should probably be giving ME literature to add to my reading list! In addition to your other assistance! 🙂 I will say, however, I am currently reading Wild Mind. Sorry I couldn’t be of too much assistance. But I will keep thinking. I might have a Eureka moment!

    • I don’t read as much as I would like to because [insert some excuses here]. And thanks for sharing — I will google ‘Wild Mind’ as soon as I can.

On a related note: maybe you should make an account on http://www.goodreads.com/ to find new texts, get recommendations from others and catalog what books you have read or want to read? Or if you don’t like reading then dude, join for the infinite amount of quotes that the website has. Admittedly, I haven’t yet made an account but fear not! I will do so soon. As an aspiring quote-collector, cataloging quotes in such an orderly fashion would serve me well in the future when I need to dig up some old and half-forgotten quote.
